Many individuals choose to create scholarships in their name to preserve their legacy for generations and to create a substantial impact for students that have similar backgrounds or areas of studies to the donor. It may be noted that scholarships can also be established in recognition of a department, program or initiative at the University. One of the best methods to create a scholarship or to contribute to a scholarship fund is through planned giving via a charitable bequest in a Will.
